I dont get this. Why is NGC slabbing two unrelated coins in the same holder. Yes, they are both commemoratives but not the same series or year.

LOL, looks like it's their answer to slabbed rolls... Wonder if these have ever been conserved in any way?

Because the submitter asked for them to do it and paid for it. maybe they are the only two commems he owns and that is is entireCommemorative half dollar collection. Maybe they were given to him by someone and they are special to him
