Royal Canadian Numismatic Association Show in Calgary

I am wondering if anyone is thinking of attending the RCNA Coin show in Calgary which starts on Wednesday July 17 with a symposium. The bourse starts on Thursday July 18 and last till Saturday July 20. This event is held at the Best western Premier Calgary Plaza 1316 33 Street N.E. Calgary. I am going to try to make it but I will not know for sure for a couple of weeks. If I do I would love to meet up.

While I am in Canada I am a couple thousand miles away from Calgary.

I am trying to be there but it depends on a variable schedule for next month. I will post here when I know.

 

Just a Sunday drive, for a Canuck! Especially when part of it is Saskatchewan.

 

Trust me, if I could find a way there, I’d be there in heartbeat. God only knows I need the break.

There will be at least 3 or 4 ancient dealers there. ANE, Calgary Coin and Londinium for sure.

 

I would love to go but funds are limited right now. I just took a trip to Ottawa for the first time and that severely depleted my available spending money.

I would, however, highly recommend the Bank of Canada Museum to anyone the next time they are in Ottawa. The coins they have on display range from Ancient to Modern and are from all over the world plus it is free to visit.

 

I hope as many as possible will make it and I am looking forward to seeing some of you
