for 20$ on eBay, from a seller with little experience. Seems like an old collection or inheritance lot they didn't have the time for.

I am very excited for these coins hopefully gonna fill some spots in my wheat set, and get some nice coins!

Anyone here have luck getting these lots? or "piles" that were NOT "estate sale" lots (scam lots)

Odds are they have been picked through and there will be the odd 1919 or 1917 in there. There may even be one seeded good date poor condition coin, so you are happy with your purchase.
If you are able to fill some slots in your albums, you didn't pay a lot of money, and I think you will be satisfied.
Please update the thread with any nice finds/ photos.
Thanks, I am sure several people will be interested in what you find.

There's a guy on etsy I bought from. He sold me 500 wheat pennies for $40. It really wasn't the best. I got mostly 40's and 50's, but it was cheap for the amount. Although, you got a much better deal than I did. hopefully it's not a scam. But, I also buy from another guy on etsy who is top notch. he sold me a wheat penny roll with an uncirculated 1958 penny on the end for a little under $10. And I got plenty of old wheat pennies too. Here's a link for anyone who might be interested.

The seller stated dates of all the decades, I don't need a lot of teens as I have most. Just need different mint marks. The lot seems promising though, I am sure it'll be 80-90% 40s and 50s though.

This will be a good and affordable boost for my date set though! Mainly why I bought it, I was getting singles for each date and it was getting pricey. Fingers crossed I luck out, but even just a few good ones would more then make up for the 20$

Yeah, I couldn't pass up the 20$ lot. I saw the auction with 3 minutes to go and dropped a bid.

The seller has no recent posts, and all her old sales seem to be different collectibles, Pokemon cards etc. No coins just one seated liberty dime. This is another reason I bought it, wasn't one of those "Estate sale 500 wheat pennies TEEN AND TWENTIES S MINT MARKS" GRAB BAG "deals" they have.

I 100% would not buy any coins on Etsy. But I have bought coins on EBay a number of times and usually got a good deal/ good coin.

Yeah to score these wheaties I had previously bought a lot of 7 cull coins for 10$, I sold one for 20$ and used that to get the wheaties

So in reality I paid 10$ for 575 wheaties, a shield nickel, seated lib dime, 2 cent, and Indian head haha
