    Recently acquired both of these - please post yours
    BRUTTIUM, The Brettii. Circa 214-211 BC. Æ Drachm (21mm, 10.1g, 9h). Laureate head of Zeus right; grain ear behind / Eagle with wings spread standing left
    Sicily, Syracuse, Hieron II 275-216 BC, AE21
    Diademed head of Poseidon left
    Ornamented trident, dolphin to each side. "IEP-WNOS"
    SNG ANS 965, 9.9gr

    I like the connection these have to the second Punic War. (The Bruttii were allied with Carthage.)

    One of @TIF's posts drew my attention to the crab headdress quartuncia. How could they have thought this was a good design idea?!
