1946 invert s

    Hey yall, I just found a 1946 inverted S, but the coin is pretty beat up, would it still be worth anything?? s p.jpg sp.jpg

    No, and im curious why you say its inverted? I have the same coin, that's how the S looks on that coin, btw welcome to CT.

    yours looks to be the trumpet style mm, i believe it is the ball serif style thats inverted, yours is normal...

    Here is my ball serif, the reason I say its not worth more, they are common, mine is ngc ms 66 was not very expensive.

    It means the Mint Mark was punched onto the Die upside down. It is a known variety.

    Ive heard the term, I m curious why my eyes don't see it as upside down. I cant seem to pick them out that way.
