I had these sent for certification, would like as many opinions as possible- 1964 SMS

I think he may have been disappointed with the results. It doesn't look like he's a member here any longer.

If PCGS did verify it, I am sure Coin World and all of the rest would have heard about it. I have learned the hard way, that the mint's use of dies ( as obvious by the directors actions) was not well documented and dies were reused outside of their intended purpose, so die features ( marks) should only be used for verifications and only if the coin actually looks 100% legitimate. Too bad, it's a tough lesson. IMO, Jim

 

Then i wonder if that's good or bad news....

 

I don't know how to see how many have been certified around the time he sent his by the date.
