I officially hit my first round of the 2008 season. I will spare you the details of how poorly I played. This is now the time of year where I because less obsessed with coins and more with golf. I will still be using a "good luck" coin as my ball marker. Just got to decide on which one.
I haven't had time nor the right weaher to play since Thanksgiving so I can understand your enjoyment. Ribbit Ps: If you want to win more holes (or all of them), play against me.
I lived in the Caribbean for 13 years and never played then I get back to the States and start playing. Go figure? I guess I preferred scuba diving over golf, whereas in Arkansas . . . well, I think you get the picture. Ribbit
Do any of you use a special or sentimental coin or token for a ball marker? My coin guy uses a replica Indian Princess $1 coin. I've also heard that Tiger Woods uses a special coin his father gave him, but I can't find any info on it.
To use a coin, one must have money (coin = money) and I spend that on coins I wouldn't use as a ball marker. Ribbit
I use to have a few divot repair tools with coins in them now I cant find them. I actually compete in Long DRIVE. My longest drive on record is 423:hail: and some inches , cant putt to save my life though
