A Very Cool 10c Chain Strike Mated Pair

Many chain strikes come off with rounded edges leaving doubt as to whether they really go together.

However, these 2 dimes are flat along the edge and would form perfectly lined-up pieces edge to each edge.

I don't imagine how else this pair could have been discovered other than found in a Mint-sealed bag.

A nice example and my first mated pair for a chain strike error type. MS64 (both) by NGC.

And sorry, guys. I am no longer showing labels.

Nice mated pair, Joe. Wonder how you can distinguish a chain strike and a regular off center. Is it on the metal flow lines?

Really cool mated pairs! Do you mind my asking as to why you don't show labels.

That would be the only way. If both pieces were put into the same bag.
