1858 LL opinion

    Yes XF is what I was going after yesterday at the coin show. Having four flying eagles already in my collection; I wanted one that is going to be much better condition than them all. At least I wanted one with tail feathers.
    I must have looked at a dozen 57 and 58s. None slabbed. They didn't exist. But all were over $100 each.
    XF-40 money is $150, right? Anyway the sun is setting here in Connecticut and I am losing my natural light.
    The reverse shots came out rough. This one I lightened a bit and reduced contrast just a tad.

    Very nice find, you should be proud to own it.
    Heritage list the 1858 at $95 to $150 XF40-XF45 depending on small or large letters.
