Rebecca, First let me say Happy Anniversary! It truly has been a pleasure getting to know you ,and even more watching you grow in the hobby .This post took a lot of courage ,you opened up, and told not only your freind's here about yourself, but also the world! I for one am very proud of you as a friend, and member of this forum. Your know Rebecca we all are handicapped in our own way! Some of us realize our weak points but never bother to do anything to try and better ourselves and try and change what we can for the better. Girl "You Rock"! In the 10 years I've been a member I must admit you are one of the few who have made an impression on most members here ! And I will tell you why.... your determination to learn.... your politeness and respect of other members....but most of all you just being you! I know for a fact that you have been a topic between other members....as you have earned the respect of the members here....something that others may never achieve due their poor attitudes. I will tell you also when you were the topic ....only positive words were spoken. In one year you have achieved alot....a mess of new friends who not only respect you...but love you like a daughter or a little sister! And I will add to this...I be very blessed to have had you as a little sister or a daughter! Rebecca you may have a handicap that limits you in certain ways.....but you exceed in so many other things....that over shadows those things that you believe limits you! Girl the sky is the limit for you in this hobby....I am proud to know you as a friend, as you are very special....to all of us old men, who you have earned every bit of our respect. Stay are you are as you are..... as that's is what makes you perfect! Paddy
Awwww! Thank you so much!! That means alot!! Sometimes you have to open up a little but it doesn't hurt too. Makes you feel better about yourself. And the learning i got from it thanks to All of y'alls help.
I had to read through all of the posts to see if there would be something I could add to all of the positive comments you have received already. Well, there is only one thing I can think of...…."I just wish that we had more newbies just like you!" In closing..... Chris
Happy (almost) one year anniversary @Shrews1994! Your post made my day! It’s awesome to see someone being real instead of posting the garbage that social media often is. Stick around for another year. We enjoy having you!
I just wanna know how long you had to dig to get that ground rod up?? That had to be two feet of digging!!
Rebecca, thank you for being the kind, genuine person that you are. That’s reflected in your posts. After reading all the other posts on this thread, there’s not much to add except again “Happy almost one year on Coin Talk”! May you have many more.
Lol I had to dig about an inch. Lol it was laying flat. Took a minute. It was a big find. At first I said this is one big nail!! That's what it looks like. Lol
It has holes down the rod too. It was laying down in the ground not up and down. It could be a very old ground rod.
It’s been fun having you join us. You’ve been quite a quick study! Don’t discount the idea that what starts out as a hobby can morph into a nice living.
