Well, I have two more 1981p Dimes and they appears to have the same "ears lobes". Take a look at them.
1.,= What looks like wear is probably mint set hazing. It will come off in alcohol. MS-66. 2.,= MS-65+ FB
Thank you @cladking. I posted them only to show to @Cheech9712 another pics of coins I have with the same "ear lobes", but I'm feel very happy with notes you gave for these coins.
Damn. You start to see parts of a coin differenty when their that nice and clean. My bad. Nice pictures
I really like the luster on @Wal888 coin. You don't think it is above a 66? I think it depends on the hazing in hand.
If the hazing doesn't come off it probably wouldn't grade at all. Even at 67 FB it's hardly worth the cost of grading. The market and services are brutal with moderns now.
Yes, especially for me, living in Brazil and without a PCGS office or other certification agency here. The cost just to send a coin from here to PCGS starts in U$ 30 (at least).
An air tite should work just fine unless you are trying to sell them or make money. Just use proper storage methods
I've used 2x2 coin holders to storage all my coins. My intent is grade and certificate the great value coins to sell them in the future, when I'll be bored with them. I have some rounded air tites, but I don't like them.
