That I started collecting. It has been so fun for me. I've learned so much from yall. I would not know anything if I didn't come here. And for the ones that sent me coins y'all are amazing you don't find many people yo do things like this. I've grown from it. Y'all put a great big smile on my face. I got more into collecting. And for the people who taught me what to look for were to go got me so determined to keep looking and to never give up. I thank you all for it. I started out collecting state quarters, national park quarters putting them in there right spot. Nickels ex. That was fun for me. Ever since I started collecting I got my mind off alot because for last couple of years it has been so bad. I didn't have a hobby didn't know what to get into. Till my grandmother gave me her coins right before she past. Reason being I don't work. I'm on disability. I have a condition called developmentally delayed. Means I learn alot slower than normal people I would love to work but I've tryed to get in places. But they never called and hired me. Maybe because of my high anxiety I get to stuttering not knowing what to say I lose track of focus. but Im a good worker though. I live in a house of four people. I cook I clean I do the laundry for all four people. I mow the grass take care of all the outside work and inside work so that when my mom comes she doesn't have to worry about doing it. It's all done. My mom needs my help more than anything. And I do the same for my grandparents from my step fathers side. I do there out side work also so really having a job is either way. I rather help my family out. Other than all that I'm pretty much quite normal lol. Sorry to get into my story lol something i thought y'all needed to know about me. Anyways thank y'all for y'alls help I really really appreciate it. All are awesome.
Congrats on your (almost) year here. It has been a pleasure having you around. It's great seeing someone who comes and actually wants to learn and then excels at it. You have definitely been a positive influence here on CT. I am sure I'm not alone in wishing you many more good years here.
nice to hear of such a positive outcome for and from the hobby of coin collecting, hope it continues to keep that great big smile on your face and keeps you here for many more years...
It has been a pleasure having you here on CoinTalk! I'm sure you will bring us some more interesting items. Hey you forgot to mention that you fish and metal detect
Meow is happy to hear how positive coin collecting has been for you. Meow has been at it 16 months and just loves it. It too keeps Meow occupied and helps the bad thoughts and feelings away. Meow has a few issues too, and is unable to share Meow's hobbies with anyone. Meow would love to talk to someone in person about CRH or playing the axe, but cant. So this is the only place Meow has to interact with others about the hobby. Purrrrrrrr to you Shrews!
Happy almost Anniversary @Shrews1994 - & f.y.i. I've learned a few things from your posts too! Keep up the good work
That is good to know that!! I'm glad. And thank you. It feels like I been doing this for more than one year though lol.
I was about to send out an APB on you, Shrews. Been wondering where you been. It’s been a wonderful thing watching your excitement as you grow in this hobby.
I scroll through coin talk like every day but don't post sometimes or comment. I think you were the very first one to send me coins!!
Glad to have someone like you Shrews sharing your life with the CoinTalk family. It's good to know that the coin collection helps you and inspires you in all this, and it adds to everyone's knowledge here. Simplicity, willpower, faith and fighting spirit will lead to success, but continuing to learn is the most important to follow the best path. Very good to have you here.
These are my last couple hunting days. I did my grandparents yard. My mom got a picture of me but lm Not even half done. There yard is huge. And then the other was near a school yard.
Lol I Wish. But it's a break to a car. The person that lived there before my grandparents worked on cars.
