Need some help here if you don’t mind. I bought a lot of coins at an auction and this lots was a bunch of blanks. I can pin down what all of them are with the exception of these two. They are the exact same size as a quarter and weigh 6.4 grams. I was thinking a U.S. 2 cent piece but the diameter is smaller than a quarter. 203F6697-F873-4F65-8E09-F48CC2310A4F.jpeg ADAC26A0-70DD-4135-BD5E-FD5977C82EE5.jpeg 81A81354-2473-4277-AFEB-1563FB5F7345.jpeg

It could also be foreign (Non US) blank planchets. It would be extremely rare and almost impossible to acquire a 2 Cent coin blank. Especially 2 of them!

Could be for private tokens as well.

@paddyman98 , I haven't dipped my toe into the whole TPG grading thing yet. Do you think that they would be able to tell if they are foreign or domestic and if from here, what coin? I would be willing to throw a couple bucks at this. If it would be a 2 cent blank then I'm sure it would bring some cash. I don't doubt what you are saying however just from digging into this lot I bought a little bit last night, I wouldn't put it past these to be 2 cent blanks. It was that kind of lot.

I don't know. They don't look old enough and the rim is weird. Looks kind of slanted downward. The TPG would probably give a hard time with them. I'm sure there are different ways of verifying such as weight, size and metal composition but if they are not totally sure they won't attribute IMHO.
You could try but when you get the results you might be disappointed.
