Sometimes the curve of learning doesn’t curve in one’s favour, especially when pushing 50, for me at least... anyways. This coin has been on the back of my mind since finding it in the penny jar a few months ago. I could never get a decent photo to present it here. I’ve tried to read the articles concerning doubled dies but reading sometimes puts an ache in my brain and my eyes start to water, lol. I’m very prepared to hear the words of an expert’s conclusion, “ die deterioration, worthless doubling, spend it.” To me, the whole thing looks like a ghost. Help me put the wonder to rest so I can sleep sound once again, lol, actually, sleeping is tough enough and I do enjoy it when I can get more than 60 minutes at a time, lol, true story!
Does it got paragraphs and paragraphs of reading? Is there a recording I can listen to instead? My brain already hurts as I’ve said, lol. Thanks, I’ll try but if I go into convulsions and wind up hospitalized you’re coming to visit me right?
From seeing some of the same sort of posts here already, I expected as much. Mostly it was just a tickle in the back of my brain and I wanted it gone like when a song gets stuck there playing over and over... “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas”, that type of thing. The reading was light but it’s still nice to clarify with the teacher, right? Not saying I completely understand anything, maybe a visual of the minting process would help exceedingly. I’ll have to do a YouTube search tomorrow after this night’s standard restless sleep. Thanks again.
