I have recently acquired all the Silver Eagle proofs including the 1995W Anniversary Set. I was collecting the set for my daughter and inquired to the community as to whether or not to actually give it to her. Not!! Have come accustomed to their brillance and feel a closeness in acquiring the "Holy Grail". Thanks to all who have provided advice and have helped in guiding me in the right direction. Now looking to complete a MS69 set of Morgans. Wish me luck.

Oooo, Morgans! Excuse me, I need a moment..... :p
A set of MS69s would be a beautiful sight. Have you begun yet? If so, please post some pics. I promise not to drool RIGHT ON my keyboard ;) .
Please keep us posted on your progress and good luck!

LoL, I know. Have about half now. Was really fortunate to have acquired all of the CC Morgans - all but three are graded at ms69. have been sticker shocked at some of the prices, but the hunt goes on.

I feel an uh-oh coming on here - Zballer, you say the Morgans are graded as MS69 - graded by whom ?

    GD,
I'm glad you said it... I'm new to collecting Morgans so I didn't feel qualified to comment other than about the $$., but MS-69 CCs ... wow

My checking of cenus reports from NGC & PCGS don't show very many MS-69 (if any in most cases) of any Morgans much less CC

MS69 Morgans exist - but they are very few and far between, at least those graded by NGC, PCGS & ICG are. I have never even heard of one graded by ANACS. And to purchase just one of them graded by one of the above mentioned companies requires verrrrrrrrrrrry deep pockets.
