The Franklin Half Dollars I have so far are PF 67 and would like to stay at that grade level and not go lower if I can help it financially. I know when you get into the earlier date Franklins high grade proofs are harder to find and may have to settle with MS low 60's.

I like your avatar pic. Down the road I want a proof ultra deep cameo Franklin half. I know they can get very expensive. I like the cameo contrast. The frostier white the better.

Thanks so much! I also love the look of the proof UDC. I'm a sucker for the shiny and brighter coins and the reverse coins especially!

I've managed to not buy a single coin for at least 6 months now. So let me tell you ... well,
except for a few here and there, a couple from the auction houses and some others from the US MINT.

umm .. what was the question ??

Rick I'm sorry but I have to let you know money doesn't grow on trees. There is this, a money plant, but these are the seed pods. IMG_3188.JPG

I'm not selling mine so you can't buy them. :) Unless you're willing to pay big bucks.

Something I do, which many might disagree with here, but since I have such a low budget for my coins, I will buy and sell. Anytime I see a good deal on a coin I like, or know there may be demand for I'll snag it and resell to keep growing. Right now my collection has some nice examples, and I have honestly not spent much $ on it.

The cons to this are obvious, you won't get to keep coins you really love for long unless you decide to put outside money in.
But for me, my collection keeps growing and getting better the more I trade/buy and sell.

This helps me get coins I'm less interested in, and not feel regret, but also get coins I love and keep or work to get better versions of! idk, just my style. There are many coins I will never sell, those being sentimental, or my Liberty Cap :)
