For me, it's gotta be a Franklin, and the same year as Ron's cent. Unfortunately, I don't have a blasted photog............

I have a Franklin from my birth year, but I can't say it is my favorite for the birth year. I think I would rather have a cent or quarter in high grade.

Meh, nothing special in my birth year, so here is my favorite quarter reverse.

Hmm, just thought of a question. How many US coins have an image of a person on the reverse?
None that I can think of, besides this one.

Well, there is the double headed Washington cent, of which I have 2.

I’m pretty partial to my LMC ‘70 S, but, my ‘70 Canadian Nickel has a strike through so yeah a toss up. I just got the Greece, Switzerland and Iceland unc’s and they’re pretty choice but, yeah. My JFK S has rock star hair like me but my Manitoba Nickel Dollar is also my birth province so yeah.

    I can’t choose just one!

After the long day I had today at work, I feel like I was born in 32 BCE....in other words, old as dirt.

Meh, I don’t really think of those as ‘standard issue’ lol. I was thinking of more along the lines of a multi-year issue, although the 1776-1976 was only ‘technically’ a multi-year coin (1975 & 1976 issue). As a MA resident, I should have known the Minuteman. The 2019 Lowell quarter also has a person.

Seriously it would have to be a Franklin Half Dollar.

I guess it would have to be the Statue of Liberty commemoratives or the ASE. My year was kind of a boring one.

It's better than mine. If I had had a choice, I would have had a Proof set for my birth year set, but I'm too old to qualify for the 1950 Proof set. :bored:

I think that the Statue of Liberty commemorative half dollar is one of the best designs in the modern series. The only disappointing thing is that it was not made of silver.
