Can’t wait to break this baby open and start photographing and grading them. At 1st glance, it looks like we got some winners in there!
Looks like some really high grade coins, and some of them appear to be nicely MA toned. Can’t wait to see them! Would not be surprised to see quite a few 66 and 67 toned coins.
Very nice collection! Why break the case open though? Seems like a really cool set. The 1942-1945 nickels look like they might hit MS 67 or even 68.
I like to look for raw Jefferson Nickels that I can submit for grading with a shot at MS67 so I can make a nice profit. Most of these coins look like MS64/65 range to my naked eye, but I won't know if they are premium gem until I get them under a loupe. I promise you that none of these war nickels are MS68, and most of the war nickels are not worthy of submission. The two that grabbed my eye as most worthy of submission are the 39-D and the 46-S.
Going to be some nice MS coins in there and this was just at a glance. Some of those war nickels are dazzlers. The 42-D also looks sharp. 51-S. Love to see the reverses.
If you guys want to have some fun, have a crack at grading them and give me your opinion on which coins you think are worthy of submission to NGC for grading. I will divulge my grades after everyone else has a shot. I don't want to influence the guesses.
