    I said the same earlier. On top of the letters you can see the split plating.

    I’m literally dying right now ...too funny!

    So I guess that answers my question for mine, it’s not a DOUBLED die but is DDD??

    P.S. Sorry my pic quality is crappy, I can take better ones if needed.

    Hi.. This thread is from Jan 2017. Start a new thread. We can help you better.

    But you're right. It looks like DDD. Common issue on copper plated zinc cents.
