Well, that doesn't sound suspicious at all. Two packages going missing from the same location, with the same carrier? Hmm.
I ordered a coin from Germany on Feb. 2. In February 4 tracking showed it arriving in NYC. It never moved after that. I eventually filed a missing package report from the USPS website, and two or three times since then they've sent me an email saying they're still looking for it. Not holding my breath.
A claim has been filed with USPS by the seller. The story makes no sense. There was no attempt to actually deliver the package even though the truck was across the street based upon GPS location when the status was changed. The package had to be on the truck to scan the barcode. My Ring doorbell shows nothing. The message on the tracker says "Unable to access the delivery location". The delivery location is a house with a mailbox and a door bell. We received some mail in our mailbox that day. They have no explanation why an attempt to deliver notification was not filled out. They claim to have looked everywhere for the package. Still a mystery.
I saw that but it can take months to settle the claim and the settlement may not be in your favor. If you really want that coin I suggest a Postal Inspector. I'm retired from the Post Office so Zi know what can happen.
