I'm new to this so please forgive my ignorance. I came across this 1973 quarter with defects on the front and back. I'd like to know if it's worth anything or they are post-strike errors. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome, and thanks for posting both sides of your Quarter.

    However, it's not an error - it's been cut/sheared.

They are post strike damage with a wire cutter type of tool. Very common to see. Amazing how many want to try and cut a coin in half. Fred beat me ....:)

They both beat me but it's damaged as they said. Welcome to CT.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

We've seen so many examples of damage that is similar to yours that I saved this image in my files just for occasions like this.
