I stopped by an antique store and saw these 1928G bills for $3.00, I bought both since I didn't have this year in my little collection. I noticed when looking at them that the red ink on one was printed about a quarter inch higher than the other, is this a normal occurrence with just a misprint? I just never saw this on the $2 bills before and just wondered if anyone else ever got some like this.

I also scored a 1957A star note $1 bill, there the oldest star note in my collection now! and picked up a jar of old/odd foreign coins/tokens and even Chuck E cheese coins!

    I had a good day!

minor shifts like that are more common then uncommon :D they will command no additional premium! still, the notes have circulated a lot.. but for $3 each .. DANG!!! nice find :D

yeah, for $3 bucks each I figured I'd snagged em for my collection, I'm still looking through the jar of coins I bought there is some rad stuff in there, a couple 1964 proof Canadian pennys, some Rupees, lots of stuff I can't read (its in Arabic), some Namco Pac-Man tokens, even some old parking tokens from the town I live in!

I have a 1953 and 1953A (2 dollar bill) with the red seal under the TWO and a "2" under where the red seal is on these. The seals as well as the serial numbers are shifted comparably to each other. An attribute that I thought was at least a good conversation piece.

Funny, I just noticed some else that it quite strange between the two. I'll to take some pics and post them for opinions tomorrow. Thanks, your post made me notice this.

    Nice Buy...By the Way!!!
