I think Karnack the great would have a difficult time determining what you have based on those photogs, but I gotta say........dees 'ancient fellows gots 'eyes' that see through lead........
I doubt that anyone can tell you without better pictures. Any chance that you'd remove it from the 2x2?
The portrait and its accompanying crudely-made style is unlike anything I've seen before so I'm going to say it's not Roman but is perhaps some kind of contemporary imitation. By the way, full size images of each side can be seen here and here.
It's a coin of Helena, mother of Constantine I, with Securitas on the reverse. Struck between 324-330 (probably at the Heraclea mint). In that condition, it's only worth a few dollars, and finding a buyer would be challenging. It's still an interesting historical artifact, and if I were you, I'd just hang on to it.
Yeah it's Helena. I'd just keep it if I were you. Nice memento of ancient times. The thing about very worn coins is that they were handled by many hands, no one knows how many, which is kind of cool if you think about it.
