Could anyone tell me if this is a SMS quarter?
I received a 1964 silver coin set in a plastic hard case "older style" in a unseen auction and all of the coins look pretty darn ama 15595053916986241003714249206710.jpg 15595054666129095628659019717036.jpg 15595055077044332867357764645691.jpg zing for that year. Jim

It is a good looking quarter. Keep in mind though that 1964 was the last year for quarters minted in silver. People knew that so many, many of these were tucked away in sock drawers, jewelry boxes and the like where they stayed for fifty years. Families liquidate grandma’s estate and these pristine quarters find there way into collectors hands. Still is a good looking quarter.

With those photogs? Give me a break. Captain Kangaroo would have a difficult time and he don't do low resolution, out of focus photos..........

It's a no wonder that some new members go elsewhere to ask a question! It's a response like this that gives NO knowledgeable information!
