took me a minute but want to make sure... APE american proof eagle? ASE american standard eagle? AGE american graded eagle? just to clear my ignorance...am I right?
I keep two complete sets of MS Silver Eagles going and one of proof. However I have never considered the 1995-W as part of the Silver Eagle collection as it was issued as a promotional coin only. I sorta keep all the promotionals in a group by themselves so as not to contaminate my regular series sets. catman
Well, like I said initially I started with proofs, then the rest is history, I did however early on acquired the 1995W, that coin also came with 4 brothers--I love that set, it is the highlight of my collection, or one of them anyways and I know the SAE IS a PF70--just because of where it came from (the source)--Also, I believe a PF70 set can be created alot more easily than the MS70 set, simply because many more exists, now I will not say it will be cheap, but for half the cost more or less, the proof can be had for a much lower price--I guess thats why I went for the MS70 first--I guess I was looking for punishment-- But you are right Dave, if you do start, it will get completed, with u I have no doubt--GO FOR IT Frank
I totally agree with your statement Nick. That is why our hobby is so unique. There is no right way or wrong way. The beauty of the coin speaks for itself. The SAE will always be a success because it copied an oldie--the Walking Lib 50 cent peice--The gold peices will also be in demand becasue it copied the $20 gold Saints--It's easy right?/
Yup I can see the difference, the labels say so-- I have, will probably continue, do you think ima fool catman??
