I have been collecting coins for years now and I am generally good with researching coins and identifying them. I came a cross this roman coin a few years ago. I have not been able to figure out anything about this coin. I know it is an imperial bronze coin(SC), but that is about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Size and weight are helpful, and it is better to remove the coin from that cardboard thing so the reflections from the mylar don't get in the way. That said, it is Domitian, probably an as. The reverse is an altar. Examples from ACsearch using search terms "Domitian altar S C" (there will be other non-matching results mixed in this search). With Flavian coins there are seemingly thousands of little variations of the legends and such so I'll defer to @David Atherton for a catalog number .
It would help if the coin was removed from the flip so the legend can be read to get a precise RIC number. If you're just wanting a general ID - @TIF is correct, it's an as of Domitian as Augustus, 81-96 AD.
