1922 no d Lincoln cent extremely poor shape

    So bad I can't see any details on the reverse with out evasive cleaning. Is this a exception where cleaning a coin might be better?

    Metal detector find.

    Get a better photos of the last two numbers. The second 2 might be a 3.

    Judging from the photo at some angles it looks like a 3. At other angles it looks like a 2. Can you post a clear large photo of the date? If you can determine that it's definitely a 1922, more experienced members can advise you on whether it's worth it or not to send it to a professional coin conservationist. (NGC or PCGS).

    Also can't tell. The last digit does not look like a 2.

    It looks more like a 3 than a 2 as it looks nothing like the first 2.
