Anyways...got to talking and he just picked up some cheap Peace and Morgan’s right before I got there so after he told me the price I swooped them up...along with some halves and quarters. I simply can’t stop buying Comstitutional silver for melt!!

I am!! The problem is there’s a lot around here right now...and I’m trying to stack bullion while it’s low too. It’s a dilemma

It's called "wishful thinking", WildWest. And Chris did say may.

    By 2050? I'll be a youngish 103. Can't you move it closer?

103 for me, too! Youngish? Hardly!

Closer? How about $15 by 2020.

I agree. I think it would be fun to try to assemble a problem free Morgan or Peace Dollar set in VF-XF.

I’m hoping for $13 by 2020 to be perfectly honest.

If it is it would represent a loss. If CPI rises at it's historical rate it would have to be a little over $36 just to hold it's current value in constant dollars.

Unfortunately, Conder, trying to explain the effect of the CPI on the current purchase price of silver to some people is like trying to convince pre-'82 penny hoarders that their stash is worth far less than they think.

MIGHT just get there a bit sooner....

Wish it was going the other way as I need to make a couple purchases!
