Don't know if any of you have seen one like this or not there's a big line showing where the I was positioned while in the Press however the eye does not show up. Anybody ain't seen one like this before? Possibilities? Thanks for the help.
I see the L in Liberty I see the Eye on Lincoln Please elaborate what you see and what you're asking about.
If it's bent, it's damaged. The weak I in LIBERTY may be from a grease-filled die, or it may be from whatever bent the coin. I can't really tell from these photos (not that I'm an expert anyhow). Welcome to CoinTalk!
Take a close look at your photos... would you be able to discern what you ask if you were presented with the question. No. Not sure anyone but Superman could!
I did see a bigger image when I clicked on the image name (to open it in a separate tab), rather than just clicking on the image itself. But I'm on a substandard monitor right now, so I still can't see that well.
The weak I in LIBERTY is caused by the Die being filled with grease or debris. It's very common and continues to this day. A minor error but it's only worth a cent. Edit to add as I almost forgot, if the coin is bent is damaged and still worth a cent. Welcome to CT.
Before I forget my manners, welcome to the neighborhood, Derek! Now that I have dispensed with the pleasantries, your photos suck! How do you expect anyone to examine a coin from images that small? Have a nice day! Chris
Derek. when you post files, before you hit the "POST REPLY" button, click on "MORE OPTIONS" and click " FULL SIZE" on the selection of photo(s). THEN click on POST REPLY. Jim
