Beside myself deciding if this is an errant "2" between the "L's or just gunk.

    Does look like a 2, I keep looking at it too, dunno what the heck. someone else may have a clue.

    Where would it come from and not be reversed?
    It's most likely a coincidental shape that looks like a 2.

    I remember seeing a video about a Roosevelt dime with a 5 on his cheek, so I thought this might be like that.

    I put the coin under a microscope and you can see a little better. Almost looks like a 7 in the O, too.

    I am new to this and I get so excited! I hunt morel mushrooms, which hide in leaves and spring forest growth, so I have a developed eye for out of the ordinary details. So much on coins pops out and I question my judgment. I truly appreciate everyone's support and help!
