The 1955-S is very common in high grades.
    AU-58?

Maybe an AU/MS slider. Hard to tell the from the photo provided.
I went AU because it seemed to be very lightly circulated.

    What AU is almost uncirculated

I don't see any rub, discoloration, or luster breaks. Just a few hits and a weak strike that bring its grade down to MS64.

There are areas on the reverse that are terrible for an MS.
In the very center and the O in one. You can call it a weak strike,
    but this coin circulated lightly.
The amount of hits and nicks on both sides is much lower than 64.

Grades on Lincoln Cents are mostly set by the obverse, which is a solid 64. The weak strike on reverse is acceptable for 64. I don't see any wear.
