What would be the name of this error?
In the second photo an object is literally stuck on the outside of the coin.
Is this a bristle from a brush from the Mint resting on the letter E? WIN_20190515_10_42_09_Pro.jpg WIN_20190515_10_39_22_Pro.jpg

Sorry, but I don't see anything on the letter E.

Can you be more specific? There doesn't seem to be anything on the letter E.

( I see what looks like a scratch just inside the C of Cent)

I see the debris by the bottom of the E. That coin has been many, many miles since the mint. Debris post mint. No error

@Fred Weinberg the bottom bar of the E seems to have some funny "stuff"

In the first photo there are 2 raised lines, one appears to be another object like the one in the 2nd photo and appears to be imbedded more deeply. The 3rd line could be the same object but completely imbedded.
I agree, many miles since they were minted, but if they are the same objects, it would seem they originated at the same time. its not falling off, so its gone for the ride to get to my house.
Does anyone know what those Mint brush bristles look like up close?
Maybe this is nothing, but maybe its not. in the meantime I will just save it until I feel it can't possibly be from a Mint brush.

    "Mint Brush bristles" ??

the only "brush" I can think of is when they polish the dies.
Don't even know what year/mm this is?
Full images of front and back ?

Do they use brushes or "sandpaper"?

IMG_2060.JPG IMG_2060.JPG IMG_1147.JPG IMG_2060.JPG . Hello everyone. I have a 1879-s 3rd reverse cull Morgan that I was using as an album filler. When I replaced the coin I noticed a double or overdate on the cull. I can't find a explanation on the net or at shops. It was suggested to me to contact MR. Weinberg . I'm still pretty green as a collector but I'm very curious and any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks Ps I've never posted before so please excuse me if I make a mistake

Nice, I don’t know, but it looks legit. Also I noticed something where the hair ends above the date. Looks like a Star, possibly a dropped star. Don’t know how to tell if this is counterfeit.

You probably should repost this in a new thread.
