    I can find no US sports team named the "Reindeer" but a few high schools have deer mascots.

    If Alfred University’s Saxons are meant to be Anglo-Saxons, then there is a significant issue with their mascot (Anglo-Saxons generally did not fight on horseback...)

    I didn't know that. I'm surprised the alumni with history degrees didn't say anything. I was in engineering and avoided the liberal arts side as much as possible ;)

    Here we have the Miami Dolphins....and like the real Dolphins NFL team which is mediocre at best and often gets destroyed by other teams, here we have a dolphin being preyed on by an eagle, or should I say the Philadelphia Eagles. :p
