    can anyone please tell me if this is an error or not. I got it in some change today and am curious.

    PMD, looks more like a jagged tear from something. not a clean edge, Not a clip.

    I could be a Clipped Planchet.
    Post a picture of the other side and one of the edge where it is curved. Side view.

    could be I guess, Has a lot of circulation, the edge does not look good to me, from the picture.

    Looks like a clipped planchet to me, but that's not really my area.

    Too bad the coin has some corrosion and other issues. It's not going to be worth very much as a result, but still a fun find.

    Looks like a legitimate clip that has seen a lot of circulation and subsequent damage which minimizes its value, but it is real.

    Genuine clip - environmental damage to the surfaces on both sides of the coin.

    Still, nice to find a genuine clip in change/rolls
