I don't think Krause has it listed. The only 5 Denars described in the 2005 32nd Ed. are FAO coins with a Yugoslavian sheep dog facing left. Yours lacks an FAO reverse, and looks like a bear "dancing with wolf".

Krause's coverage of Macedonia has a very incomplete feel to it, with just a few scattered dates, and generally no mintage figures. The listed 5 Denars (KM#5 and KM#5a) are brass (mintage 70,000) and cu-ni (mintage missing), a bit larger than a U.S. quarter, and dated 1995. There are some 2001 coins listed.

That's NOT Macedonia. That's from Bermania and celebrates the 1998 wedding of the King Allen Bergman. Allen Bergman is a dealer in foreign and ancient coins and a specialist in medieval coinage and Papal states coinage. He wrote the book on Papal medals. Bermania is a fictional country and is kind of an ongoing joke among Allen's customers.

That will teach me to look at the legends before commenting.[IMG]

hehehe...I did think the dancing bears were a little out of place on a country's coinage.
