I'm not a currency collector and this may have already been posted, but the wife came home today and got two of the newly designed 5 dollar notes in her change. I think it's a neat looking note and Lincoln never looked better. The whole note, front and back, really is different. It almost looks fake. I took both (well, I had to give her $11 for the two of them), and archived them in plastic bill slips.
I just saw one of the new $5s today. We went to Hershey,PA today for a doctors appt. for my son and stopped at Wendys on the way home and got one in our change. I can honestly say that I strongly dislike the new design. To me it looks like play money with that big colored 5 in the bottom corner. I'll give 'em and take 'em but I aint gonna like it.
