Hi Guys, I bought some time ago a Lot of coins in an album, but forgot them till now. I had paid a little more than face value of each coin (around U$ 70.00 for U$ 62.70 in face value). I separated some coins to show here and ask the grade, but could got these good pictures only. I still have some Dimes and Quarters to take good photos and show here, but didn't have time to do it yet. Any comments will be appreciated. Thank in advance.

None of those coins are worth over face value. Just common circulated nickels. Have you used this PCGS photograde website? I find it pretty helpful https://www.pcgs.com/PHOTOGRADE/#/Jefferson/Grades
Some nasty digs on the first two (obv)......well struck though. If they were to grade I'd put it a '63 (due to the 'digs). The last two seem AUish to me.
Yes, I used it. But the coins there (in high grades) are without scratches, but when I see the same high grades in PCGS slabbed coins there are some scratches on those, so I be confused.
I don't know. When I created the thread, the site did not responded. So, I logged out and logged on again, and two threads was created...
We try to keep things in one place. That way the addle brains (like me) can find things easier.......
It's the lack of scratches that's gonna get you the grade. Gouges and digs are going to disqualify the coin from grading.........
All those modern ones are face value. Very few Jeffersons carry a premium. 1955 1954-S 1953-S 1952-S 1951-S 1950 1950-D 1949-S 1948-S 1946-S 1945-P silver 1945-D silver 1945-S silver 1944-P silver 1944-D silver 1944-S silver 1943-P silver 1943-D silver 1943-S silver 1942-S silver 1942-P silver 1942-D 1939-S 1939-D 1938-S 1938-D 1938 There are also a number of rare varieties not listed here.
