Any guess how soon the Mint will be adjusting their metal prices?

I have never known the mint to lower the price on anything while it was a current issue. I think they have done closeout prices on old merchandise that they "found", just to try to get rid of it. But it was years old, and it was like Kennedy half rolls, etc.

They lowered the prices on presidential dollar first day covers which really ticked off people who had bought them at the higher price. I'd be pretty upset if they started selling the Elizabeth Monroe First Spouse coins at a lower price.

I don't know that there's ever been anything like the recent drop in gold and silver prices since they started making American Eagles. With the prices so high, who would buy them from the mint? The mint may have to lower the prices unless they want all sales of American Eagles to stop.

I think it's like gas prices, when the price of oil goes up gas follows quickly. When oil falls gas prices stay the same!

Not exactly almost everyone buys gasoline (more of a supply and demand issue) whereas, not everyone buys from the mint. At the current price of silver and gold, I am not buying at the mint right now. :)

That may be, but I think metal would have to fall quit a bit for the mint to lower their prices.
