So i have one hundred 1 dollar star notes serial numbers in sequence can anybody tell me if their worth more than face value
Typically, full packs of $1 star notes sell for anywhere from $125-$200 on eBay, sometimes more if fancy.
A photo of the first and last bill would be very helpful. If a full pack with no fancy numbers it should sell for about $125, higher if it contains fancy numbers. This is assuming of course that all the bills are in mint condition. Welcome to CT.
They will probably be worth more in a decade or 2. Today, they're probably worth about 15-20% over FV.
A tiny bit of bleed through on 2 of those bills. Not enough to raise the value but I'd check them all before doing anything with this stack.
Would store each note individually in a plastic sleeve to maintain integrity and then sell them as a lot later.
I think 100 sleeves is too much trouble. And then you are handling the notes in and out of the sleeves they can only get creased. If you have access, you could shrink wrap the whole brick.
The idea is the ultimate protection, and why would you keep moving them In and out of the sleeve ? once there in you dont have to wrry about them anymore and can access them individualy if needed.
