    Hey all,

(Quite coincidentally, I've finally gotten around to posting this right after someone else posted about an S-VDB!)

My father had a Lincoln cent collection - the old Whitman folders. It was a mild pastime, he picked cents from circulation until the mid-1950's, and then he gave me the folder around 1967 or 1968. And that's what got me started in collecting.

Thoughts on the VDB? (Note: I don't know how, nor do I have the equipment, to take decent pix of coins).

I don't know where the obverse went -- let me try again:

Was it something I said? ;-)

But, seriously, anybody out there want to suggest a grade (despite the mediocre pictures)?

MD-64BBN A beautiful coin but the brown ones always seem to grade a point lower than they should.

Looks more 58ish to me. Rub on high points of the hair and grain ears. Attractive none the less.

I think I might see some active corrosion on the upper left wheat ear.

    Otherwise, MS-62/3 BN

I’m in the 58 camp for the same reason Mr Murphy stated.
