Hey guys, I found this Minnesota Quarter and I have noticed some very unusual things. First, the rock appears to be clearly doubled to the west a bit from what I see. BUT, there also is some features I need your guy's help with. There appears to doubling with the trees. that's not the most confusing feature though. There appears to be a spot with a line running SE but it can only be seen when the light shines on it correctly(In that yellowish photo) I can't find this variety anywhere. Any knowledge would be great. Thanks. IMG_20190510_164108.jpg IMG_20190510_163309.jpg IMG_20190510_162744.jpg IMG_20190510_162406.jpg IMG_20190510_162617.jpg IMG_20190510_162727_2.jpg

There are 105 different 2005-P Minnesota doubled reverses cataloged by CONECA. Start here to try and find a match. A button on the right side of the page near the top will take you to the next 21 varieties.

Thank you, varietyvista is an awesome site! But, I have already gone through every nook and cranny of the internet looking for this variety, but I have not found anything close to it. So heres a few more questions. Is this a doubled die? Is it really possible I discovered a new variety? And if I did, what should I do next??

    Hi:)
Imho, if you believe you have gone through every variety and cannot match it up. Then I would email varietyvista at the bottom of there site page. Tell them you may have found a new variety. You can also submit it to ngc.

There is always a chance to find a new variety.
Imho,It looks like a common slight misaligned die strike.

I can't see anything with the moon shining on the lake.
