    I don't have an 83 to compare, that's got some deep pits, like gravel machine ?

    That's what it looks like,idk. I'm more focused on that split in the tail of the 3.

    Did you weigh it for the heck of it, there is an 83 copper variety. I think its pmd however.

    the reason I say, the copper layer is very thin, should be able to see zink in that split.

    Ahhhhhh yea,the copper 83,I forgot about that. I'll check it when I get home.

    Looks like it took a hit and split the base of the 3. There are a number of hits in that area, including one that is on the 3 just above the split.

    It's all damage - hit marks, contact marks, bag marks, etc.

    Not an error, I'm sorry to say.
