I use a moto (low quality) android, play around with it, to get clear pictures of obverse and reverse, change lighting. may need to put the magnifying glass closer to the camera?
@Estle forget the magnifying glass just get us an in focus well lit image of obverse and reverse and crop them like this if you can. Reed.
Sounds good, I'll try. Yes I put the Penny in s square plastic holder. I will take it out and try another picture.
Ok, I hope these pictures are ok, that is all I can do.. BTW,, there is no copper on this coin at all.
well its possible, there out there, but I think you would need to get it certified, cant tell much with photos. and the rotation.
It's just a plated penny. Thousands have been posted here on this board. You can see on the obverse between two and three o'clock where it took a hit, exposing the surface. Worth one cent.
The photos are not the best. I'm not convinced this is plated but it is either plated or the thin layer of copper coating has been striped away leaving the zinc Cent showing. Your cent just has that shiny look of zinc and that's why I think the copper coating has been striped off. The reverse looks like the copper is still intact. Either way it's damaged and only worth one cent.
Thank you all so much for your help.I know it's not a rare Penny by any means but it's the first Penny I have found ever by coin roll hunting..I thought it was a dime
If it isn't plated, which I suspect it is, then it has been stripped of the copper plating like @Collecting Nut said.
