I have a suspicion it came back questionable color so it is now raw.

My guess is its from being stored years with paper products, not a really attractive coin. but I like them.

I think the color is AT, but it doesn’t matter because the coin is unattractive.

It that a circular scratch a the bottom through the GO in God? Or is that a die crack? Meow has a ANACS graded Peace with over seven die cracks on it. Meow has heard die cracks are very common on these issues.

Otherwise Meow does like the color. But is it AT or not? Meow does not know TPGs criteria on what makes a AT a AT?

But can they really tell for sure? Meow gets being able to distinguish a cleaned coin for one that's not. But AT and naturally toned, are both forms of corrosion. Meow cannot really understand how one can say for sure which one it is. yea, if a 2019 ASE has deep rainbow toning, then that would be a red flag. But a 100 year old coin being not corroded in the correct way?

I don't think the coin in the OP was made that color on purpose, but I also don't think it's market acceptable.

Although my opinion is swimming up stream, I think the toning is natural but the TPGs are very tough on Peace Dollars and it would not surprise me if it came back QT.
