I bought this bill a few days ago because I have never owned an error star bill before and found it interesting. Hoping to perk your interest too even though it's a common error, on a star note makes it a little more fun to have.
Here are two I bought last year. I changed my collection from general error FRNs to only star error FRNs. Let me know if you want to see more.
By strict standards I agree. Probably within BEP specs. But you don't see too many star notes like this, so I will keep it anyway.
Since others have shared, I thought I would share one of my notes with an error on a replacement note.
Got this one dollar bill back in change. The raised 1 to the right of Washington caught my eye. I believe this is an error. Opinions???
A dropped or raised serial? Minor shift in the serial. It's very common. It would need to be more drastic, or if a bunch of the numbers were all over the place up and down. It looks as if the 2 is more down than the 1 is up. But that could be the angle.
