The top big old thing in the top of the photo is what looks to be an ornate kind of hanger for coats and what not. The other things are metal what nots and two of the items appear to be some type of rivets off of clothing of some kind. Ya never know what you will find thats the fun of detecting. Jim

I have been doing a little research and the school where my grandfather used to go popped into my head. It's off the road and fallen down mostly now, but it's out in the country on a dirt road and probably hasn't been touched in 50 years. I'm thinking it would be a great place to go coin shooting since it was built in the late 19th Century. The only problem I ever encounter when coin shooting is an initial fear that I'll get in trouble for digging holes on someone else's property. Jim do you normally ask permission before digging or do you just go during off hours? Anyways, awesome finds!!!

I ALWAYS get permission. No fun detecting and having to look over your shoulder. Its pretty easy to find out who owns the land and ask permission. Thanks, Jim
