only joking, The good news is the package does appear to have been inspected by customs, and taped back. but I thought this storage/display was nice, and it was 9$. real wood.
I've noticed some deceptive selling on eBay and Amazon. They list a shorter delivery date, but a couple days after you buy it they "adjust" the delivery date to compensate because it is directly coming from China and not California (a shipping port apparently).
Amazon is deceptive also (that's where this came from), some products from china have absolutely no customer service, and offer no support or warranty, my leather office chair 168$ (I broke a plastic wheel ) no support, no phone number, no website. I went to lowes and got another wheel to repair. but ya, I try to be more careful.
and this brings up another question, I would think it would cost more than 9$ just to air freight anything, and they can ship to me, and still make a profit. but If I ship this one state over it cost me 9$ or a little less. ohwell , so usps is loosing money yearly, that is clearly poor management.
in 2011 the USPS entered into a bilateral agreement with China Post for "very low" rates as long as it was in an "ePacket" under 4.4 lbs some reference info https://www.uspsoig.gov/document/inbound-china-epacket-costing-methodology There is no agreement from US to China. Only from China to the US. another linky article https://www.forbes.com/sites/wadesh...chants-to-ship-to-the-usa-cheap/#2e10764240ca
Yes, they are quarter size, I measured 29 mm ID, or anything smaller. Im really happy with the quality of the product, and the price.
I am recovering from knee surgery and if I am missing something here... Well, I blame it on the pain pills..... An ASE (American Silver Eagle?) for nine bucks from China?? What piece of this puzzle am I missing?
It was a joke, last week we found some fakes on ebay. I would never buy a coin from china or an ase for 9$, or anyone who does not have a stellar reputation for selling coins.
Meow has bought random china stuff from fleabay over the years and all of it was dirt cheap. Some times really dirt cheap. Half the time the items where garbage, but was so cheap Meow did not care. Meow wondered how sometimes a decent for the price item could be sold and shipped for such a low price. Even stuff that fell off a truck (stolen) or five claw pawed (shoplifted) stuff does not sell and ship for this cheap. It sort of seems in china the Chinese can compete or beat sellers who get their stuff for free, and ship it for pennies in cost. What is up with that?
Cheap? Leaded coated toys, pyrite drywall, adulterated food. Of course they are a real bargain until you look at the long term damage.
Are you insinuating that melamine is not part of a healthy cat food regimen? And that lead is not an essential mineral for good health?
