New to VAM'ing - prices?

I've recently started to go through my 9+ rolls of dollars (all common stuff) and I'm discovering some minor VAM's, even a TOP 100 one (albeit it's only at #99!). How the heck do I find out how much premium to put on these coins for resale? Are there any free lists out there? Is there something simpler than searching auctions sites, coin-by-coin, which can be quite tedious?

That site only lists 1878 prices as far as I can tell.

You just need to explore the site. That is the most comprehensive site there is when it comes to VAMS.

It's the combination of the last names of Leroy Van Allen & A. George Mallis who did a tremendous amount of Morgan dollar and Peace dollar research and variety attribution.

The book they wrote is essentially one of the (if not THE) Morgan dollar bible: "The Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollars". It's an amazing book with incredible details (not to mention tons of pictures) about the entire process, history, and varieties of the Morgan and Peace dollar. Even if you're moderately interested in Morgan dollars I strongly recommend this book.
