Meow says, "If its not too much trouble, can you get a Cat some rolls; Please." And if Meow has some on paw, will offer them a pack of gum.
Meow gets penny rolls every week too. Searches half or so, and saves the rest for a rainy day or a boring power outage day.
Thats why i enjoy cointalk. You members treat me the same as if i really matter. I'm a small fry. But i get to be accepted (i think) by some great members that teach me and each and everyone of us that acts small or silly with this hobby of ours. Has anyone bonded out Kurt yet? I miss him so.
That’s because you DO matter @Cheech9712!!! You are a valued member of our community and a nice lady. I talked to Kurt a while back, there’s a lot to unpack as far as him ever coming back here. I would not expect it any time soon. Pity, actually.
I have purchased a box of quarters. No “W”s. Then I bought 10 rolls. 80% of the coins were 2019s. 4 were “W”s. Bought 15 rolls next. 2 “W”s. Yesterday 25 rolls. NADA.
Meow suspects the prices of these Ws will steadily drop. As they are fairly available to all who want one. Meow recalls they made 2 million of them. And they made 2 million or so of the 1950d nickels, and so many kept them they don't have the greatest value. But with that said, Meow would be happy to find more and add them to the Cat hoard.
I just bought 2 rolls from the bank today thinking they would all be somewhat new. The first roll was all uncirculated looking 2017 Effigy Mounds. I haven't opened the second roll yet.
Indeed, price is dropping. Once a week I check in to eBay completed listings to see what they're going for. Last week was in the $25-$30 range. Today it seems many are in the $15 to $20 range.
He's from Philly. They all have a thorn in their paw. Plus. Our coins all started from Philly. Therre was a lot of Kurts in Philly back when The US was a new nation. Where would this Nation be now if we all band the Philly Kurts. Might sound silly. But would we be the USA without aggressive behavior.
