That's a very rare (in that grade especially) VAM It is NOT damaged - have it certified/graded, and you'll be surprised what it's worth. I don't know the VAM # off-hand, but it's called the Scarface Varieity - rare rare in that grade. (I don't like the color 'ring' on the reverse)
....it does have a few scratches, but I'd be willing to bet that it does 'straight grade', even with them, based on what I can see in your photos..
Thanks Fred. Thoughts on grade and value. I've seen MS62s that look like AU58s...because the dies were so beat with the late stage errors. Mine seems to be an anomaly of a sharp strike on the hair, ear and breast of the eagle. Check out the ear and hair below on this PCGS MS62
